Request and approval of cards

The creation or request of cards varies depending on the user’s role:

  • Administrators

If you are an administrator, you do not need approval to create cards. Additionally, you can configure approval flows for cards requested by managers or employees. Learn here how to configure an approval flow.

  • Managers or employees

Managers or employees can request cards through the platform. These requests will go through the approval flows set up by the administrator.

How to request a card?

  1. Go to the cards section and click on ‘Request a card’.
  2. Customize the card and fill in the request reason field.
  3. Click on request, and you're done!

The request will be sent, and you can check its status in the my requests tab.

This feature speeds up the card creation process. The employee or manager has autonomy to request new cards, while the administrator maintains control and saves time on operational tasks.

If I am an accountant, can I have a card?
For now, no, since the accountant role is designed for users with audit and control permissions.

How are the people who need to approve my request notified?

Users included in the card approval flow will receive an email notification when a new card request is made. Additionally, in the cards section, under the pending approval tab, they will be able to see the requests they need to approve or reject.

What is the difference between the “my requests” tab and the “pending approval” tab?

  • My requests: shows the requests you have made.
  • Pending approval: shows requests made by others that you need to approve.

 

How do I approve or reject a request?

  1. Go to the cards section, then the pending approval tab.
  2. Click on the request you want to review.
  3. A side panel will open, where you can check the request details and approve or reject it.

 

Is it possible to cancel a card request?
Yes, you can cancel a request at any time from the details section of your request in the my requests tab.

 

Can approvers edit the information before approving and issuing a card?
No, approvers can only approve or reject your request. If a change is needed, you must cancel the request and submit a new one with the required adjustments.
